I have made my own molds for papermaking by modifying a photo frame for A4 size & embroidery frames for circles. I also use discarded petals from the printing process for texture and invitation cards to add colors. After the paper has formed, pressed, and dried I prefer external sizing. It improves the surface strength, printability, and water resistance of the paper.
